The fact that it’s May already makes me feel like the year has totally flown by. But then I stop to think that it’s only been 3 months and then it feels like these past few months have been the longest in my life. Things are looking up though, and the world is slowly starting to be a brighter and more beautiful place. Things are changing, but finally for the better.

take a break from running for at least a few weeks!! and ice that!! if you continue to use it while its hurting it might get reallllllllly bad!

Shin splints…are you kidding?? My left shin has been sore for the past week but today it hurts quite a bit more. Wtf I’m not even running that far, shins, so stop being such a pussy. Gonna go for a walk today and try different shoes tomorrow so hopefully that’ll help.

Decided to give this movie a second chance after hating it the first time around. I hadn’t seen it in like 5 years so I couldn’t remember much of it other than the fact that I thought it was SO boring.

Despite all previous judgements however, I have to say I really really enjoyed it. It was something that I never would’ve thought it could have been made into a movie, but I am so glad it did. It was oddly relatable and sort of satisfying in a sense in the end, though I’m sure others might think otherwise. But after watching it again though, I must say that it’s made it up into one of my top favorite movies.

Give it a chance, maybe two, if you haven’t already.

I’ve been pretty cranky these past few days. Cranky might be a understatement, pissed is more like it. Maybe that could apply to the past few months. But anyways, today I took a nap. Your mind can come up with the weirdest things when you’re sleeping, but it turns out that in some special circumstances it can give you exactly what you need.

I will always love dreams because they are more opportunities to see you face-to-face. I wish I had a pensieve like in Harry Potter for these type of things. I think if I had one of those, I’d pretty much live in it every single day. But seeing you and talking to you today gave me that extra bit of hope to view the world in a more positive light. The world isn’t such an ugly place, and maybe I should stop viewing it as such.

So here’s to rose-colored glasses and the constant fight towards becoming the best and strongest person you can possibly be :)
